Dr. Ben Kearney, Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, authors State-Wide Recommendations and Standards for Early Childhood Mental Health Services
As an outgrowth of his involvement and leadership with Voices for Ohio's Children and the Early Childhood Mental Health Advisory Council, Dr. Benjamin W. Kearney, Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, has authored a state-wide publication with recommendations to service providers regarding preventative early childhood mental health services.
This publication, entitled “Helping Ohio’s Children: Understanding the Impact of Early Childhood Mental Health Services”, helps families, funders and providers who work with young children identify what works in the field of early childhood and mental health. It also encourages tracking the effectiveness of these childhood mental health programs using measurable data. Findings are based on six studies of early childhood mental health evaluations throughout the State of Ohio.
