Your Gift is Essential

At this time, Berea Children's Home and Family Services needs your support more than ever. Life has been challenging, especially for our clients. One of my great concerns is for our children and families in need. Imagine the terrible situations our children and families are enduring. Ninety percent of those we serve live at or below the federal poverty level. A life with basic needs, such as food on the table or heat in their home, is unknown.

This past year our organization empowered over 13,000 children, young adults, and families throughout 22 counties in Ohio.

Your gift can help us:

  • Provide a safe haven to previously abused and neglected children
  • Keep families together through counseling services
  • Offer support services to our Medically Fragile Foster Care families who care for infants and children with major medical problems, handicaps, and developmental disabilities
  • Teach parenting skills to parents in need of help
  • Provide job training to young adults to help them escape the cycle of poverty
  • Give food boxes to hungry children and families
  • Provide clothing and school supplies to children living in our Residential Treatment center

Any gift that you make is tax deductible, to the full extent of the law. You will receive a
personalized thank you letter acknowledging your gift that can be used for tax purposes.
