BCHFS Golf and Club Classic Sets New Record!
On Monday, September 14, 2009, more than 150 donors and sponsors attended the annual Berea Children’s Home and Family Services Golf and Club Classic at Columbia Hills Country Club in Columbia Station, Ohio. More than $146,000 was raised from sponsorships, the live auction and gifts. Bill Wills, WTAM Morning Drive Time Radio Personality and BCHFS Board Member, was the celebrity auctioneer. The $146,000 sets a new all-time record for our golf outing, exceeding last year’s record-setting net performance of $130,000. This is an amazing accomplishment given the tough economy!

It was a beautiful, sunny event and those attending were moved by the outstanding work being accomplished daily by BCHFS staff to help empower, equip and educate our clients toward a better life. Thank you to Beth Lawson, Advancement Coordinator, for organizing the event and to all the BCHFS staff and volunteers who worked to make this event a huge success! All funds raised will directly support BCHFS programs and clients. Congratulations to all for this record setting event!
