Thank You for Your Inquiries about Adoption in Haiti

The Foster Care Program of Berea Children’s Home and Family Services would like to thank you for your inquiries about Haitian adoption. According to http://haiti.adoption.com, new adoption applications are not currently being processed due to the recent devastation in Haiti. We appreciate your concern for the welfare of the Haitian children and respect your decision to help in whatever way you can. Due to the complexity of the international adoption process and the devastating earthquake, we encourage you to help in other ways that will guarantee immediate relief to the Haitian people. To give a time or monetary donation for the immediate relief efforts in Haiti we suggest that you contact Red Cross, World Vision, Habitat for Humanity, United Methodist Committee On Relief, and other organizations directly involved in the relief efforts.
