2009 Sam’s Club Hero Award Recipient and Most Interesting Person of the Year
Henri Ngolo, a Respite Mentor with Berea Children’s Home and Family Service’s, is the recipient of the 2009 Sam’s Club Hero Award and has been named the Most Interesting Person of the Year in the Cleveland Magazine. The Sam’s Club Hero Award reflects Ngolo’s work with an orphanage in Africa. “He is a strong mentor of the highest caliber. The Community Respite Team at Berea Children’s Home and Family Services is so impressed by his genuine ability to reach the most troubled kids and make a positive impact in their lives. We realize that child care workers, such as Henri, are a rare find. He personifies the quality of care that Berea Children’s Home and Family Services represents to the community, and we are very happy to have hired him,” said John Hadley, BSSW, LSW, Community Respite Supervisor.
